8.3 Working With Notifications
There may be large numbers of people involved who need to respond to an assessment. Notification tools allow you to generate emails that notify the necessary people so they know they should log into Isora GRC work on the assessment.
Isora GRC contains default templates that notify people by email of certain events. When you publish the assessment, the assessment managers receive an “assessment launched” email letting them know they need to log into Isora GRC and launch the survey(s) they’re responsible for. When an assessment manager launches a survey, the OU head and IT staff for an OU are notified. If the survey includes host categorization, then the notification settings for the sheets that contain those hosts will kick in. Remember, each host has entries for Owners, IT Contacts and Users. The sheet has notification settings for all three of those categories of people.
When a survey is completed, if the assessment was created to “require ou head final approval” for a given OU, then the OU head will receive a “survey completed” message.

By default, Isora GRC sends email from admin@isora.saltycloud.com. If you want Isora GRC to send emails from a different address, please reach out to support@saltycloud.com and let us know what "from" address you'd like to use.
