How to Update a Running Assessment

Updating question snapshots is a new feature that is not yet available on all customer systems.

Updating question snapshots will cause a notification to go out to Assessment Managers. You may want to customize the message to indicate the reason for the update and to draw their attention to particular questions that were changed. If you intend to do this, you should update the notification message before you do the update. (See also: ).

This information is for superusers only. To update a running assessment so that the questions match the latest version in Isora GRC, you need to update question snapshots.

  1. On the Settings page, click on Assessments from the left-hand navigation panel. Then click the smaller Assessments link in the middle of the page to access the assessments table view.

  2. On the assessments table view, locate the active assessment that you want to update. Click the pencil icon next to it.

  3. In the edit assessment dialog, click the link where it says “Click here to update assessment question snapshots.”

  4. In the confirmation dialog, click the Update button.

  5. After the update is complete, you will see a confirmation message. Click the X in the upper right hand corner to close the confirmation dialog.
