Some assessment methodologies support supplemental inventory-related data capture, in addition to gathering questionnaire responses. This is referred to as data enrichment.
For unit assessments - asset enrichment
Asset enrichment is optional on unit assessments. When created a new unit assessment, a superuser can choose whether or not to enable it.
If enabled, for each unit included in the assessment, participants will have an opportunity to add information about inventory assets that belong to that unit. Assets are categorized based on the data classification policy for your institution (See also: /wiki/spaces/IID/pages/2028961799 ). When the results of the survey are collated, the asset classification data are included in the resulting report. So you can think of each asset categorized as being like another question on the survey.
Additionally, when a survey respondent classifies the asset during the assessment process, the related metadata about that asset are also updated.

For application assessments- application enrichment
Application enrichment is mandatory on application assessments. As part of the assessment process, a participant will need to classify the application based on the data classification policy (See also: /wiki/spaces/IID/pages/2028961799 ). When the application enrichment step is completed, the metadata about that application will also be updated based on the values chosen.
