4.3 Working With Apps

You may want to include applications in your assessments. These could include locally developed and/or commercial products.

To see a list of apps, click on the apps tab in the inventory module.

From here, you can click the name of an individual app or the info button next to it to see more details. Administrators can edit any entry.

4.3.1 Adding a new app to Isora GRC

Before you can include an app in assessments, it needs to be added as inventory. On the apps tab, click the new app button.

In the new app dialog, fill in as much information as desired. Only the name and owners fields are required.

Isora GRC superusers and individuals listed in the owners field can edit the app entry. Any member of the owning Organizational Unit can answer survey questions in an assessment of the app.

You can use deployments to link an app to one or more hosts where the app is installed. For each deployment you want to include, click the +new deployment button and fill in the relevant details.

Click save when you’ve finished.
