2. Overview

The purpose of the API is to allow you to programmatically perform the same operations as you would do manually on Isora GRC’s web interface. For example, instead of navigating with your browser to Isora GRC’s inventory app and uploading a CSV of hosts to create a new sheet, you could execute a script that uploads the CSV and creates the sheet via the API. You can then automate a lot of tasks that might be cumbersome to perform on the web interface.
