Third-Party Vendor Product Intake

Third-Party Vendor Product Intake

This information is for superusers, assessment managers, and vendor requesters.

What is intake?

When you assess a third-party vendor product for the first time or add it into inventory, you very likely also want to gather information about how the product is going to be used and by whom. Vendor Product Deployments capture that information. The Intake step in the New Third-Party Vendor Product Assessment wizard allows you to select an existing deployment or create a new one, at the time of assessment.

Third-party vendor products do not belong to any particular unit. You use vendor product deployments to create an association between a vendor product and a unit that uses or is responsible for the product.

Intake is a new feature in Isora GRC.
