What is the purpose of locations?

Locations are optionally used to track where physical inventory assets (hosts) are located. Locations consist of a site, building, floor and room, with an optional description. Confidential locations are visible only to superusers.

Only superusers can add, edit or delete locations. You cannot delete locations that have any hosts located in them.
